your itinerary
We've spent years honing the perfect itinerary for a week of fantastic sailing - taking in all the must-see attractions, and mixing it with a few trips off the beaten-track.

Saturday - Getting on board
On arrival at the airport, you'll be taken by private transfer to the marina in Göcek. With the VIP check-in service, you should be the boat before 2pm, which will give you plenty of time to get used to life on board, meet your skipper and hostess, listen to a safety briefing, and, of course, relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Sunday - Sailing to Kapi Creek
After a night on board, it’s time to get out to sea. The day will be spent weaving between the islands in the stunning Göcek bay, sailing past idyllic islands and exploring beaches, bays and olive groves before mooring up in the remote and fantastic Kapi Creek.

Monday - Sailing to Ekincik
You’ll be sailing with a bit more purpose today as you work your way up the coast to Ekincik, a cute ex-fishing village with a brilliant beach and friendly locals. You can also arrange a half-day tour to visit the thermal mud-baths of Dalyan, the ancient city of Kaunos, or the Iztuzu Turtle beach for the following day. All are optional, but recommended, and it is possible to do all three in one tour.

Tuesday - Sailing to Asi Koyu
To allow time to take in the main cultural sights of the area, day three of sailing is only a short hop which sees you heading a hidden-gem location which is inaccessible by car or foot – Asi Koyu is a beautiful and largely unspoilt bay, and offers (another) outstanding beach and a supremely romantic atmosphere. Watch out for sea-turtles as you sail back past Iztuzu beach!

Wednesday - Sailing to Tersane Adasi
It’s another beautiful day for sailing, and on day four you’ll head back down to the Göcek bay area to meander around and to overnight at Tersane Adasi, which was unbelievably once the HQ and main ship-building location of the Ottoman Navy (in around the 14th century). Nowadays, it is a peaceful island with plenty of sunshine and a nice place to eat.

Thursday - Sailing to Cold Water Bay
On day five, the plan is to finish up in Cold Water bay, but you have a choice of how you get there: stay and play in Göcek bay a while; head to the exotic town of Fethiye and wander around the authentic Turkish market there; or best of all, sail to the nearby famous Blue Lagoon for the best beach location in Turkey. Then head to Cold Water Bay to taste the natural spring water or to hike up the hill for stunning views.

Friday - Sailing to Gocek
You can also visit Fethiye or the Göcek bay area on day six as you work your way back home to Göcek, which is where, legend has it, Icarus landed when he fell back down to Earth. It’s now a cosmopolitan town with plenty of quality waterside bars and restaurants, offering a lively and romantic setting for the last night of the holiday.

Second Saturday - Disembarking
Today, you will say farewell to the boat, skipper and the hostess. You’ll disembark at 9am and take a private road transfer back to the airport.
